ORLEANS – The Orleans Chamber of Commerce invites all Orleans residents and business owners to participate in its 2023 annual Christmas Lighting and Decorating Contest.
This year’s contest is open to all residential properties in Orleans within a five-mile radius.
In addition, this year, all Orleans merchants and business owners are invited to enter their decorated and lighted store windows for judging. Â
The deadline for all entries will be Friday, Dec. 8. The entries will be judged on the evening of Dec. 11. Prizes will be awarded for best overall decorating.
Nominations for the Christmas Lighting Contest may be mailed to the Orleans Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 9, or dropped off at Orleans Town Hall or via email historicorleans@gmail.com. Those wishing to fax their entries may do so to 812-865-3413. Special entry forms will appear in The Orleans Progress Examiner.
