Organization Day marks the annual first roll call of all state lawmakers. This day also allows members of the Senate and House of Representatives to meet before the session officially reconvenes in January. The 2024 session will conclude on or before March 14 by state law.

“Interim committees revealed a number of policy areas lawmakers should work to improve, including our tax system, state agency rulemaking, and health care in Indiana,” Koch said. “I look forward to returning to the Statehouse for the 2024 legislative session and considering these topics to improve Hoosiers’ quality of life.”

As the 2024 session gets underway, Koch encourages residents of Senate District 44 to contact him with any questions or comments. Koch can be reached via email at Senator.Koch@iga.in.gov or by phone at 800-382-9467.

Koch is an attorney with The Koch Law Firm P.C. During the session, he serves as chairman of the Senate Committee on Utilities, ranking member of the Senate Committee on Judiciary, and member of the Senate Committees on Commerce and Technology and Corrections and Criminal Law.
