MITCHELL – There will be a free movie day at Mitchell Opera House on Sunday, December 3. The opera house will be showing The Grinch (2018) and the movie is completely FREE for all ages.
The doors open at 2:30 p.m., and the movie begins at 3:00 p.m. Giveaways & surprises will follow the movie.
This is a Substance Free Alternative Event provided by the Choices Initiative grant at Hoosier Uplands.
This event will be held at Mitchell Opera House located at 217 North 7th Street in Mitchell.
Mitchell Opera House is handicap accessible. All seating is first come, first served. Food and drinks are not permitted in the auditorium.
The Grinch (2018)- The Grinch and his loyal dog, Max, live a solitary existence inside a cave on Mount Crumpet. His main source of aggravation comes during Christmastime when his neighbours in Whoville celebrate the holidays with a bang. When the Whos decide to make Christmas bigger and brighter, the disgruntled Grinch realises there is one way to gain peace and quiet. With help from Max, the green grump hatches a scheme to pose as Santa Claus, steal Christmas and silence the Whos’ holiday cheer once and for all.
