BLOOMINGTON – Don’t miss The Holiday Market scheduled for November 25th from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Showers Common and Fernandez Plaza.
Shop for favorite locally grown farm products, and arts and fine crafts created by local artisans, all while listening to the music of the season.
Volunteers are needed to assist with set-up, carriage rides, participant raffle, and more. Officials are also looking for volunteer elves to assist Santa.
A friendly reminder that this is the Saturday after Thanksgiving – please be sure that you will be in town before you volunteer.
Twelve volunteers 16 years old and older are needed per shift. The shifts will run from 9:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. and from 12:30 p.m. until 4 p.m. Volunteers under the age of 18 must have an Underage Waiver of Liability signed by a parent or guardian and must bring it with them when they arrive for their shift.
Come dressed according to the weather. Don’t forget your hats and gloves.
