BEDFORD – With Bedford Revitalization Inc.’s Christmas Around the Square, the Bedford Community Band and Choir will perform a Christmas Concert on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 2 p.m. in the Stonegate Arts & Education Center Black Box Theatre.
The event is free for the public to attend.
The concert will feature four special musical arrangements by former BNL band director and former director of the Bedford Community Band, Roger Gales.
The arrangements will be performed in his honor to draw attention to the Roger L. Gales Music Excellence Scholarship established after his untimely death in February 2023.
Future fundraising concerts will feature many band, orchestra, and choral music pieces he arranged for numerous community music groups over the years.
