WASHINGTON – The annual Veterans Day ceremony in Washington is set for Saturday, November 11 at the Daviess County Courthouse steps.
At the eleventh hour, on the eleventh day of the eleventh month, we will remember veterans. The Armistice, an agreement that ended World War I – at 11 a.m. on November 11, 1918.
This special ceremony, presented by the Washington VFW and American Legion, will be held on the Courthouse steps on Saturday at 11 a.m.
The public is invited to this free event and encouraged to attend.
