BEDFORD – The Lawrence County Economic Growth Council continues to be recognized for its work in the workforce development space.
Joe Timbrook was nominated for Outstanding Administrator/Coordinator/Director for the Indiana Association for Adult and Continuing Education. He was announced and recognized as a nominee at their annual meeting on September 28th.
“The rest of the world is discovering what we already know; we have a great team and we are doing fantastic work.” Joe stated, “To be nominated for this award from such a prestigious organization is such an honor for all of Lawrence County. It validates the hard work that comes with community collaboration and partners from our local region. We especially appreciate the partnership with Vincennes University that has been key to developing what Lawrence County needs to focus on to increase educational attainment and improve the life of our friends and neighbors.”
