LAWRENCE CO. – Thanks to a grant from the Lawrence County Community Foundation, the White River Humane Society now has vouchers to help with the expense of spaying and neutering your pets.
Vouchers are $50 off spay or neuter to Lawrence County residents. You must have a vet appointment within 30 days before picking up a voucher. Vouchers can be picked up during business hours at WRHS located at 3511 Pumphouse Road in Bedford. There is a limited amount of vouchers available, please make appointments as soon as possible.
Spaying and neutering your pets helps to:
- reduce spraying and marking
- stray animals roaming
- reduces aggression
- lower risk of cancer and other health issues
- decrease overpopulation
- increase pet lifespans by 3-5 years
