BEDFORD – The North Lawrence Community School board approved the donation of paid time off between NLCS employees yesterday in their regular meeting.
The situation change stemmed from a staff member having a sick child and running out of PTO days to care for their child. This resulted in the movement from other staff members wanting to help out by donating their own PTO.
This was a one-time approval, similar situations would need to come before the board and request approval again.
