BEDFORD – The NLCS board met and approved several changes for staff last night at the Administration center during their regular session.
The board approved pay adjustments for the Maintenance Department, as well as a 50 cent raise for hourly support Staff and a movement to make support staff benefits effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
This change in benefits brings the period before they kick in from 60 to 30 days. Now, the 30 days will match the rest of the staff’s benefit standards regarding timing.
