This concert will feature two Hoosier country music acts – Lloyd Wood and Dwight Cox.

Lloyd Wood and his band are an Opera House fan favorite. As a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and vocal impressionist, Lloyd first gained a solid regional following as Lloyd Wood and the Little Nashville Express, the house band for the Little Nashville Opry. They opened the show for most of the bigger acts in country music in the late 1970s and early 80s and gained a following among regional country fans. The pride of Indiana, Lloyd is also a recipient of the Sagamore of the Wabash: the highest honor bestowed by an Indiana Governor.

Lloyd couldn’t perform without showing off his impressive impersonations of the likes of George Jones, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Elvis, and even Tiny Tim. No matter the performance or size of the venue, when it comes to Lloyd Wood, this man loves the Lord, his family, the Hoosier state, and his country. Not only will you enjoy his music but also his humor, which is why it’s often called the Lloyd Wood Show.

Dwight Cox is a country music singer and songwriter, with a passion for traditional country music.

Tickets for all other guests are $10 and can be purchased with cash or check at ACE Hardware in Mitchell, at the door the night of the event, or at this link.
