Why the Dashboard was Created

As you run your farm operation, you may need different types of data and information that are scattered across numerous online sources. USDA also provides many farmer-focused data sets and local resources that can help farmers and ranchers. Some data may be tough to find or difficult to analyze, especially for beginning farmers and ranchers who are starting a farm business or are new to USDA.

We created the farmers.gov local dashboard so that you can easily access materials that are relevant to you and your farm operation in a single place. We also transformed some of the complex data sets into easy-to-read charts and graphs to help you quickly find information that matters to you.
