BEDFORD – Bedford North Lawrence, the defending Class 4A state champion, is ranked No.2 in the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association preseason poll.
Hamilton Southeastern was voted No.1 with 336 points, while the Stars had 327 poll points. The rest of the Top 10 (in a poll that does not divide by class) included Noblesville, South Ben Washington, Fishers, Zionsville, Lake Central, Homestead, Fort Wayne Snider and Columbia City.
BNL is also ranked No.4 in the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association Class 4A poll. Noblesville tops that poll, followed by South Bend Washington and Hamilton Southeastern.
The Stars will start the regular season on Thursday at Mooresville.
