Stone City Christian Academy uses a Jack-O-Lantern to help convey a message

LAWRENCE CO. – Jack-o-lanterns are remnants of old traditions that can be used for fall interior and exterior decor, delicious recipes, or for a “smashing” fun time, but today at Stone City Christian Academy the jack-o-lantern was used as an illustrative demonstration during a message to some of our community youth.

Stone City Christian Academy, Reverend Steven Manley utilized the making of a jack-o-lantern to demonstrate the ways God can change lives during chapel today.

Stone City Christian Academy’s post on Facebook said, “God can clean up our outsides, remove the yuck from the insides, open our eyes to spiritual things, put a big smile on our faces, and create a light within us that will shine in the darkness around us.”
