State Soil Conservation Board Meeting

INDIANAPOLIS — The State Soil Conservation Board (SSCB) will meet on Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to noon ET at the Hendricks County Fairgrounds in classrooms A, B and C (1900 E Main St, Danville, IN 46122).

The SSCB administers the Clean Water Indiana Fund, which is a water quality-related erosion and sediment reduction program. The SSCB also provides guidance and support to Indiana’s soil and water conservation district leaders as they assist local leadership in the protection of the state’s soil and water resources.

ABOUT ISDA The Indiana State Department of Agriculture (ISDA) reports to Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch, Indiana’s Secretary of Agriculture and Rural Development. Major responsibilities include advocacy for Indiana agriculture at the local, state and federal level, managing soil conservation programs, promoting economic development and agricultural innovation, serving as a regulatory ombudsman for agricultural businesses, and licensing grain firms throughout the state.
