BEDFORD – On Saturday, October 14th, the Bedford North Lawrence (BNL) Marching Stars traveled to Franklin Central High School to partake in the Indiana State School Music Association (ISSMA) State Finals under Scholastic Class A. There the Marching Stars performed their show, “From the Source.” Their performance earned them 4th place despite rain and wind during their performance. This is the highest BNL has ever placed at State Finals.
The Marching Stars will perform their show again for the last time this year on Friday, October 20th, at Lucas Oil Stadium for the Bands of America (BOA) Indianapolis Super Regional – Prelims. This will also be the last performance for this year’s 15 seniors. They are scheduled to perform at 5:30 p.m. and awards will be held the next day at 3:30 p.m. Come and show your support for the Bedford North Lawrence Marching Stars.
