Mary Rose Cummings, 92, of Bedford, passed away Monday, October 9, 2023, in Ocala, FL.
Born March 9, 1931, in Lawrence County Indiana She was the daughter of Fay and Villa Johnson. She married Jack Cummings on March 11, 1949. They were married for 71 years.
Rose worked in the Lawrence County Courthouse for 40 years. She was a very loving mom and grandma. Her house was always open to anyone. She dearly loved her family and friends. She was a lifelong member of the First Church of God.
Survivors include Son Mike (Kathy), son. Terry (Lana). Grandchildren Brad (Carol), Jamie (Lori), Matt (Becky), Angela (Clayton), Bub(Amanda), Wendy (Tim), and Melissa (James). Great-grandchildren Brailey Zakry, Larissa, Lilyann, Loralie, Morgan, Lexie, Chase, Kyston, Camden, Timothy, Ashlynn, SkyLynn, Brittany, Breanna, Braxton, Kendalyn, Mason, and several great-grandchildren, siblings Vera (Don), Jimmy (Wilma), and Jackie (Becky).
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her siblings May, Kenny, Benny, and Russell.
To honor her wishes cremation was chosen with no services.
