Becky’s Place 9th Annual Run for Hope 5K

BEDFORD – Becky’s Place 9th Annual Run for Hope 5K will be held on Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, November 23.

The event will be held at the Downtown Depot at 9 a.m.

Women are strong. Women are courageous. But sometimes, even the mightiest among us need help.

Becky’s Place provides shelter and creates hope for women and children experiencing homelessness. By offering shelter, compassion, and professional counseling.

You can help transform the story into one of hope and safety for all.

All proceeds from this event will go directly to Becky’s Place.

Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome to be a part of this fun, family-friendly event that is designed to promote healthy activity and wellness while benefiting one of Lawrence County’s premiere charities. Children and families are encouraged to participate in the 5K together.

All participants will receive a race medal. Shirts can be purchased for $20. Awards will be given for the top finisher in the following age groups:

  • Under 18
  • 18-30
  • 30-40
  • 40-60
  • 60+

You can register online or mail the registration form to Becky’s Place by Friday, November 17.

Race packets can be picked up at the Bedford Chamber of Commerce from Noon until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 22.
