Police inventory vehicle find two grams of meth

JUDAH – An Indianapolis man was arrested during the early morning hours Monday, October 2 after police found meth and drug paraphernalia.

Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Kenton Carter stopped the man’s vehicle along State Road 37, near Judah.

The officers learned that 55-year-old Ryan Crafton was driving without ever obtaining a driver’s license.

Due to there being no valid driver, the vehicle had to be towed. Deputies inventoried the vehicle before it it was towed from the scene per department policy. During that inventory, the deputies found two grams of meth and drug paraphernalia.

Crafton was detained on charges of possession of meth and drug paraphernalia and transported to the Lawrence County Jail.
