JASPER – On Saturday, September 30th, the Bedford North Lawrence (BNL) Marching Stars traveled to Jasper Jerry Brewer Stadium to partake in the Indian State School Music Association (ISSMA) Scholastic Prelims under Class A.
There the Marching Stars performed their show, “From the Source.” Their performance earned them a gold rating and distinctions in both music and effect. The distinctions were for “Exceptionally outstanding service or achievements of marked national or international significance”.
Their efforts granted them the opportunity to perform at the ISSMA State Finals in October.
The Marching Stars will perform their show again on Saturday, October 14th, at Franklin Central High School (6215 S. Franklin Rd. Indianapolis, IN) in the ISSMA Scholastic Finals. They are scheduled to perform at 4:51 p.m. and awards will be held at approximately 6:35 p.m.
