DAVIESS CO. – On Monday, October 2, the Daviess County airport will experience a complete closure to facilitate essential runway maintenance.
The closure will impact the T-hangar area, Taxilane A3 and A4, the tarmac, the fueling station, and the runway for the majority of the day.
During this time, no aircraft or personal vehicles will be allowed to access the airport. It is recommended to relocate your aircraft to a neighboring airport or stage it on the grass runway before 8 a.m. on Monday. You can then access it from the visitor parking lot outside the gate.
Please note that there will be no exceptions to this closure or the movement restrictions within the airport. If you have any questions, contact the airport office.
This closure will be in effect from Monday until Tuesday morning at 6 a.m.
