James Taylor solo acoustic tribute this Sunday at the Lincoln Amphitheatre

LINCOLN CITY – One of the region’s most acclaimed James Taylor tributes, Bob Griese’s “Sweet Baby James” show, will be in Lincoln City this Sunday, October 1, at 4 p.m. central.  The performance, part of the Lincoln Amphitheatre’s 2023 Amp Unplugged Sunday afternoon series, is presented in part with support from the Friends of Lincoln State Park.

All seating is general admission ($15.95 per ticket) and tickets are available for this special performance at www.LincolnAmphitheatre.com, directly at bit.ly/JTatAMP, or by calling 812-937-2329.  Children 12 and under can attend for free (with a  downloaded ticket).

Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Griese and his “Sweet Baby James” performance provide an uncanny recreation in both guitar and vocals of James Taylor’s biggest hits.

“It’s all about his amazing songs – something I enjoy as much as his fans,” said Griese.  “I do not dress up like JT and I don’t try to act like him.  I play these songs the most respectful way I know how…as myself.”
