BEDFORD – After 23 years of service, Captain David Wright is retiring from the Bedford Fire Department. Last week, the department held a celebration in his honor, and today, at the Bedford Board of Works and Safety meeting, his retirement was approved.
“We want to thank him and his family for his service,” Mayor Sam Craig said. His experience and calm demeanor in any situation will be traits sorely missed by the Fire Department.
