Judy Flick, 77, of Owensburg, passed away at 4:31 a.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at her residence.
Born September 7, 1946, in Huntingburg, Indiana, she was the daughter of Richard and Marjorie (Blume) Whipking. She married James F. Flick, and he preceded her in death. Judy was retired from Fountain Blue as a housekeeper, she was of the Jehovah’s Witness faith, and a loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include four sons, James E. Flick, Michael C. Flick, and Shawn T. Flick (Misty), all of Owensburg, and Mathew F. Flick of Mitchell; four grandchildren, Aaron Flick, Brittany Flick, Izabella Flick, and Mathew Flick, and four great-grandchildren; siblings, Karen (Mark) Huff of Jasper, Donald (Debbie) Whipking of Huntingburg, Janice (Leroy) Seitz of Jasper, Vicky (Tony) Harting of Jasper, Colleen (Dana) Frick of Celestine, Kerry (Missy) Whipking of Birdseye, Angie Freeman of Huntingburg, and Margie Volz of French Lick; thirty-one nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, and four brothers.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Owensburg Cemetery with David Self officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
