Joint investigation nabs two after police find fentanyl pills

WASHINGTON – Two people were arrested on drug charges after a joint investigation by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, Washington Police Department, Indiana State Police, and DEA Task Force on Friday, September 8.

During a series of traffic stops by Daviess County Sheriff’s Department deputies and Washington Police Department officers approximately 100 fentanyl pills and other drugs were seized thanks also to cainine Storm.

Police arrested 26-year-old Logan Roger and 28-year-old Stephenie Roger on charges of felony charges of dealing a narcotic drug.

The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office is urging the public to educate themselves and their children about the dangers of fentanyl. This potent drug is often disguised to resemble legitimate prescription pills and can be exceedingly challenging to differentiate.
