42nd Annual Harmony School Golf Outing raises $65K

BLOOMINGTON – The 42nd Annual Harmony School Golf Outing raised a record-breaking $65,000 in support of the Miles Kanne Scholarship Fund. Major sponsors included presenting sponsor Commercial Service of Bloomington, as well as The Elm, Greene & Schultz Trial Lawyers, Cassady Electrical Contractors, Cook Medical, Cook Polymer Technology, CFC Properties, Ecofriendly Mechanical, Core Restoration, and Premier Painting.

“We are so grateful for the generosity of our amazing community of supporters, who helped make this year’s event so successful,” Fern Goodman, Harmony School CFO, said. “Funds raised will be a great support to our students and their families this school year.”

The outing was held Saturday, August 26at Cascades Golf Course and the tournament champion team was American Rental for the second consecutive year.

The 43rd Annual Harmony School Golf Outing is scheduled for August 17, 2024, at Cascades Golf Course.

The outing is in honor of Miles Kanne and Gene Flander. Miles Kanne was Vice President of Cook Medical from 1964 to 1992 and served on the Harmony School Advisory Board for 30 years.
