Metro Auto Recyclers earns its seventh Indiana Clean Yard-Gold Level Award

INDIANAPOLIS –The Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) awarded Metro Auto Recyclers a seventh Indiana Clean Yard-Gold Level certification in recognition of the company’s efforts to protect the environment. The facility is located at 2155 W. Lincolnway in Valparaiso.

The Indiana Clean Yard program was established in 2009 as a collaborative effort by IDEM and the Automotive Recyclers of Indiana to decrease environmental threats posed by vehicles stockpiled in salvage yards.
