Englewood fire station bid awarded to T&G Construction

BEDFORD – Yesterday’s Board of Works and Safety meeting saw progress on the Englewood Fire Station Renovations as a bid for construction was awarded to T&G Construction for $56,344.

Additionally, the board approved 2nd Class Firefighter Seth Johnson’s permanent status after completing his probation requirements.

The agreement between the city and T&G Construction regarding Englewood was changed at the meeting as well. The original completion date was moved from November 6th to December 6th to allow for the 30-day delay the city incurred while making a decision.

The City of Bedford has been working to begin renovations on Station 3, and this is the next step in the process. Four bids were considered during the 30 days, with T&G Construction chosen as the best option.
