BEDFORD – This morning around 12:15 a.m., Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department Capt. Harrison Fleetwood conducted a traffic stop along US 50 East near Boyd Lane.
He detected criminal activity and nervousness from the vehicle occupants.
Capt. Fleetwood obtained consent to search the car. He was assisted by Sgt. Michael Williams and Officer Clifford Pruett.
The search revealed that the male driver, 40-year-old Mark Kessner, of Medora, was in possession of approximately 3 grams of methamphetamine.
Capt. Fleetwood arrested Kessner on a charge of possession of meth.
