Three arrested on drug charges after a report of domestic dispute

FAYETTEVILLE – On Monday, August 7th, around 2:30 p.m. Lawrence County Officers Kinsley Duncan and Kenton Carter responded to a residence in the 2000 block of State Road 158 for a report of a domestic dispute.

While there, police determined there was methamphetamine and other illegal substances present in the home. Officer Duncan applied for, and obtained, a search warrant for the property.

Police found meth, marijuana, pills, and drug paraphernalia.

Police arrested 41-year-old Nicholas Beverstock and 51-year-old Kelly Lowery on charges of possession of meth, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Sharon Shirley, 63, is facing charges of possession of a legend drug (possession of pills without a prescription), marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

A report on the domestic dispute has been submitted to the Lawrence County Prosecutor’s Office for review of possible charges.
