MITCHELL – Calling all jazz lovers – Bloomington Jazz Orchestra will be performing live at the Mitchell Opera House on Friday, August 4th at 7 p.m.
The Bloomington Jazz Orchestra, formerly The Swing Time Big Band, is an 18-piece jazz group made up of some of the most passionate jazz musicians in the Bloomington Community. The group plays big band jazz music from the early days of the big band up to some of the more current tunes by today’s most respected jazz arrangers.
Sit back and listen to this finely tuned big band machine weave its musical blend and magic.
Hank Wintczak, former Mitchell Band Director, is proud to bring this talented group of musicians to the Mitchell Opera House.
Tickets are on sale now at Ace Hardware in Mitchell and at mitchelloperahouse.com. Tickets can also be purchased at the ticket booth on the night of the event. Tickets are $15 for adults and we are offering a special student price of $5 each for students of any age.
