ENGLISH – Orleans Christian Church is hosting a public revival the weekend of August 25th through 27th at Sycamore Springs Park in English.
The schedule of events starts with campfire worship and smores on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
On Saturday there will be worship with the band Worth the Journey beginning at 5 p.m. near the Riddle House Shelter.
Following the worship time, Dr. David Lucas, the senior minister of the Zion Church of Christ in Meigs County, Ohio, will deliver a message.
Dr. Lucas began preaching at age 15. His true passion and life objective is to preach Christ living, crucified, buried, resurrected, and coming again. After the preaching there will be an opportunity for anyone who would like to be baptized to be immersed in the Little Blue River at the park.
The weekend will conclude with a Sunday service at 9 a.m. in the chapel with another message by Dr. Lucas.
