BEDFORD – IU Health Community Health offers free HIV and Hepatitis C screenings at four different locations in Lawrence County.
These rapid antibody tests only require a finger prick. You’ll receive results during your appointment and get connected to treatment immediately.
Most cases of Hepatitis C can be cured with treatment. HIV anti-virals can lower a person’s viral load so that they cannot transmit HIV to others.

Testing will now be offered at the Mitchell Community Public Library on the first Thursday of the month from 1 p.m. until 3 pm. As always there is walk-in testing in the office in Paoli every Monday from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. or call to schedule an appointment at 812-723-7573.
