The 76th Annual Persimmon Festival 2023 is now accepting vendor applications.
For Commercial Expo Participants:
The Booth or Display Contract for the Commercial Expo and a copy of the Rules for the Commercial Expo. Please review both documents to avoid misunderstandings. The rules have been updated for 2023.
Please review the information below.
- The Commercial Expo will be open Tuesday, September 26th through Friday, September 29th, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday, September 30th from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- The contract price for booth space is $300. Payment is due by the June 30th deadline with the return of your signed contract and proof of insurance. Mail to: Greater Mitchell Chamber of Commerce, PO Box 216, Mitchell, IN 47446 by the due date to reserve your space.
- NO exceptions of any kind can be made after the deadline date. We cannot hold your spot without your payment in full, the signed contract, and proof of insurance by the due date. After the due date, booths will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- Proof of Insurance must be included with the contract and payment of $300.
- Set-up time will be after 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday (no earlier) however, all vehicles must be removed from the tent by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday (streets are closed at 5 p.m.). The commercial Expo opens at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26th.
- As a courtesy to exhibitors, your display must not block the side view of adjacent displays.
- Canopy or table legs must fit within your 10 x 10 assigned spaces; they may not protrude beyond the line or you may be asked to remove the canopy.
- Certain items, such as balloons, popcorn, soft drinks, bottled water, face painting, or any other items our paying vendors are selling, CANNOT be given away.
- We cannot guarantee the tent to be waterproof and we cannot be held liable for damage caused by natural circumstances (wind, rain, hail, etc.).
- Also, we will not have 24-hour security. Security will be provided from 9 pm – 7 am. There will not be security in the tent during the day. We strongly recommend that you take the necessary precautions to avoid theft or vandalism to your property. We cannot be held responsible for any loss.
