BEDFORD – The 10th Annual Ugly Duck Derby & Free Community Swim Day also hosted by the United Way of South Central Indiana was Saturday, June 10 at the John Lowery Municipal Pool.
The event raised more than $33,000 for the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County.
Enjoying the open swim were 278 children and 169 adults.
More than 50 prized were awarded.
Haley Mack won the Yellow Duck Race taking home the $4,000 Grand Prize.
Andrea Rope was the $2,500 Grand Prize winner of the Blue Duck Race.
Brandy Deckard’s duck took last place in the Blue Duck Race winning $100.
