INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Civil Rights Commission in partnership with Indiana Black Expo, Inc. will host the 2023 Governor’s Reception on July 11 at the Indiana Convention Center during IBE’s Summer Celebration. At the reception, the outstanding achievements of African Americans throughout the State of Indiana will be recognized. The 2023 awards are:
- Achievement in Business and Entrepreneurship
- Achievement in Education
- Achievement in Health and Wellness
- Community Engagement Award
- Next Level Award
- Harold O. Hatcher Award
