BEDFORD – Lawrence County Superior Court I Judge John M. Plummer III sentenced a Bedford man to 840 days in the Indiana Department of Corrections Wednesday. Nicholas Owings, 32, pled guilty to Residential Entry, a Level 6 felony as part of a negotiated plea agreement with the State of Indiana.

The plea agreement called for Owings to serve 910 days in the Indiana Department of Corrections, with credit for 53 actual days served and 804 days suspended.

Ownings was placed on supervised probation for 545 days. However, after failing to comply with the terms of his supervised probation and failing to follow court orders, Judge Plummer III revoked Owings’s 804 days and ordered those to be executed in the Indiana Department of Corrections.
