The First Annual Spring Fest is Saturday in Washington

WASHINGTON – A new event is coming to downtown Washington on Saturday.

The first annual Spring Fest will be Saturday at the Core Center parking lot and the Pocket Park on Main Street from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

A variety of vendors and non-profits will be set up, and the event will include a big bake-off sponsored by the YMCA Youth Council with prize money for your best baked good recipe. The cost is $20 to participate in the bake-off.

CEO Class will have some of their class projects on display.

There will be a take a toy or leave a toy booth with Little Warrior Wishes, and Comforting Hearts will have details on their new all-inclusive playground coming this summer.
