Bloomington man arrested after police find meth

BEDFORD – A Bloomington man was arrested Monday, May 1, after a Bedford Police officer stopped his vehicle for a false or fictitious license plate.

The plate on the maroon GMC Envoy returned to a white Chevrolet Blazer.

The officer stopped the vehicle as it turned from State Road 37 onto State Road 158.

Tony Parcell

The driver 31-year-old Tony Parcell told the officer the vehicle did not belong to him he was just borrowing it.

Police then learned Parcell was wanted on an active warrant in Orange County and he was driving on a suspended driver’s license and he was detained. He was also issued a citation for false or fictitious registration.

While conducting an inventory of the vehicle police found an orange plastic container of crystal meth.

Parcell was then charged with possession of meth.
