WTIU Earns 11 NATAS Central Great Lakes Emmy nominations

BLOOMINGTON – The NATAS Central Great Lakes Chapter announced today that WTIU Public Television received 11 regional Emmy Award nominations.

WTIU’s travel series, Journey Indiana, earned six nominations in the categories of news feature, education, photographer (news/sports and short form), and video essayist.

The Friday Zone, WTIU’s children’s series, received four nominations in the children’s and entertainment categories. 

WTIU’s documentary Chimes of Christmas earned one nomination for best audio.

The Central Great Lakes Emmy Awards recognize excellence in television among its members in Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. The winners of the Central Great Lakes Emmy Awards will be announced on June 17.
