MITCHELL – Back 2 Mac: a Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band will perform at the Mitchell Opera House on Saturday, April 15.

Back 2 Mac : A Tribute To Fleetwood Mac featuring Todd Johnson, Tim Halcomb, Ray Rizzo, Kimmet Cantwell, Bob Ramsey, Danny Flanigan, and Lauren Balthrop.

Their 40+ song list spans all the hits of the chart-topping Buckingham, Nicks, and McVie era and also features early classics like Peter Green’s “Black Magic Woman” and Bob Welsh’s “Sentimental Lady”. Lush vocal harmonies and an easy-going playfulness with the audience distinguish Back 2 Mac performances from those of other tributes. In late 2022 or early 2023, the band completed a 12-city run of shows that often incorporated guest singers in each city joining the band to perform songs from McVie’s extraordinary musical life, from her early London days in Chicken Shack and Christine Perfect to her last recorded song with Fleetwood Mac.

Members of Back 2 Mac have played and recorded with Leon Russell, Bob Weir, The Impressions, Days Of The New, Josh Ritter, Anais Mitchell, and Kevin Morby. They pool their experiences into electrifying performances of Fleetwood Mac music, playing city-sponsored events and venues including City Winery (Nashville, Philly, Chicago, and Boston), Brooklyn Bowl (Brooklyn); Headliners Music Hall (Louisville); The Bluebird (Bloomington, IN), and Stephen Foster Amphitheater (Bardstown KY). In May 2023 Back 2Mac will perform the opening night of Abbey Road On The River Festival alongside Mickey Dolenz.

“We’re known not to book many tributes. But when we do, we expect a high level of musicianship and, even more important, passion to show through in the performance. Witnessing Back2Mac, the musicianship is obvious and the passion is palpable. Book them one time and you’ll see. And so will your patrons.” – Billy Hardison, NIVA, DTour, Production Simple.

“Back 2 Mac has consistently delivered a high-quality performance with a great turnout consistently in both markets countless times over the years. I wish I could host them every day!” – Mark Evans, Landline Presents.
