MARTIN CO. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure for US 231 near West Boggs Lake.
Beginning on or around Monday, April 10, crews will close US 231 near the entrance of West Boggs park for an emergency pipe replacement. During the closure, crews will remove and replace a pipe under the roadway. Once completed the roadway will re-open to traffic. Work is expected to take a day to complete, depending on the weather.
The official detour for this project is State Road 58 to I-69 to US 50. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
