Jackson County Sheriff’s Department is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 8

BROWNSTOWN – The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 8th at 11 a.m.

The event will be held in the field next to the Jackson County Jail on State Road 250.

Sheriff Rick Meyer says there will be plenty of Easter eggs for all those that attend. The Easter bunny will hide more than 8,000 eggs filled with treats for children to find. The Easter bunny will also be on-site for photo opportunities.

There will also be lots of prizes and one lucky individual in each age group will win a new bicycle.

The ages groups are:

  • Ages 0 to 3
  • Ages 4 to 6
  • Ages 7 to 9
  • Ages 10 to 12
