BLOOMINGTON – Monroe Fire Protection District firefighters responded to Kylie Court Monday evening after a report of a possible fire.
As firefighters headed upstairs they reported smoke and located a small fire in a bathroom.
Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire with very limited damage. Once the fire was out a positive pressure fan was used to ventilate the smoke out of the home.
The fire was accidentally caused by a candle.
The homeowners were home when the fire started and was able to exit safely before firefighters arrived.
