  • 6:22 a.m. An alarm was sounding at the Dollar Treet. It was a false alarm

Incidents – March 8

  • 5:00 a.m. Request for a welfare check on a male walking west on US 50 East at  Leesville Road. The officers stopped the male, who threw something over the guardrail. The male was detained and then given a ride to Farmers Market
  • 5:43 a.m. Disabled vehicle in the 2000 block of State Road 37 at McDonald’s. The vehicle needed a jump
  • 5:58 a.m. Report of an unwanted person in the 6000 block of US 50 East. The male was given a ride to the 200 block of Sparksville Road
  • 6:12 a.m. Report of an erratic driver in a Dodge pickup on US 50 West and Huron Williams Road driving at a high rate of speed. It was an off-duty Martin County Sheriff’s Department deputy
  • 6:40 a.m. Report of cattle in the roadway on Liberty Church and Burton Cemetery roads
  • 8:54 a.m. Report of a fight in the 500 block of Diamond Road
  • 9:40 a.m. An alarm sounded in the 100 block of Old State Road 37. An officer found the door open. No one was located in the home and the officer secured the door
  • 11:42 a.m. Request for animal control at Tunnelton Road at Hoosier Park for an abandoned male beagle
