  • 4:22 p.m. Ethan Terrell, 32, Bedford, wanted on a warrant for petition to revoke

  • 1:41 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1000 block of Norton Lane. An IU LifeLine ambulance responded
  • 4:01 a.m. Fire alarm sounding at First Baptist Church on 20th Street
  • 5:28 a.m. Domestic fight reported at the Mark III Motel
  • 6:22 a.m. An alarm was sounding at the Dollar Treet. It was a false alarm
  • 7:28 a.m. School patrols at Lincoln Elementary
  • 8:44 a.m. Street blocked at 15th and L streets
  • 8:51 a.m. House check in the 2000 block of I Street
  • 9:39 a.m. Fire reported in the 1000 block of 13th Street. Bedford Fire Department responded

Incidents – March 8

  • 5:00 a.m. Request for a welfare check on a male walking west on US 50 East at  Leesville Road. The officers stopped the male, who threw something over the guardrail. The male was detained and then given a ride to Farmers Market
  • 5:43 a.m. Disabled vehicle in the 2000 block of State Road 37 at McDonald’s. The vehicle needed a jump
  • 5:58 a.m. Report of an unwanted person in the 6000 block of US 50 East. The male was given a ride to the 200 block of Sparksville Road
  • 6:12 a.m. Report of an erratic driver in a Dodge pickup on US 50 West and Huron Williams Road driving at a high rate of speed. It was an off-duty Martin County Sheriff’s Department deputy
  • 6:40 a.m. Report of cattle in the roadway on Liberty Church and Burton Cemetery roads
  • 8:54 a.m. Report of a fight in the 500 block of Diamond Road
  • 9:40 a.m. An alarm sounded in the 100 block of Old State Road 37. An officer found the door open. No one was located in the home and the officer secured the door
  • 11:42 a.m. Request for animal control at Tunnelton Road at Hoosier Park for an abandoned male beagle
  • 11:46 a.m. A follow-up investigation in the 1000 block of  Lafayette Avenue in Oolitic
  • 12:25 p.m. Follow-up investigation at Bedford North Lawrence High School
  • 12:39 p.m. 911 call in the 90 block of Felknor Road. It was an accidental call

  • 1:37 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a possibly suicidal male in the 1000 block of Old Vincennes Road
  • 1:48 p.m. 911 call reporting a medical emergency in the 900 block of South Rogers Street. Monroe County Sheriff’s Department was alerted
  • 1:55 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a box truck tailgating the caller’s vehicle at State Road 37 at Patton Hill Road
  • 2:03 p.m. Report of a male in a black car hanging out the window attempting to hold a couch on the top of the car on 5th Street near the feed mill in Mitchell
  • 2:06 p.m. Request for animal control in the 3000 block of Old Vincennes Road for a dog running loose
  • 2:19 p.m. Citizen assist in the 4000 block of Leesville Road. The caller reported her husband had stolen her medication
  • 2:38 p.m. Request for animal control in the 900 block of Walker Addition to check on the welfare of a dog and her puppies. There were no signs of neglect
