‘Journey Indiana: From Above’ premieres March 2 on WTIU

BLOOMINGTON – Journey Indiana, WTIU Public Television’s weekly travel series, presents a new view of the Hoosier state in an upcoming special. Journey Indiana: From Above utilizes aerial cinematography to showcase well-known areas of the state as well as some of Indiana’s hidden gems.

Journey Indiana: From Above premieres on Thursday, March 2 at 8 p.m. on WTIU and simultaneously streams on Facebook Live. The program takes viewers on adventures across the state from busy cityscapes to quiet landscapes to discover the history and grandeur of Indiana.

Cataract Falls

Some of the state’s most iconic sights are explored, including Monument Circle in Indianapolis, the natural beauty of Cataract Falls, Indiana’s first state capital in Corydon, Parke County’s covered bridges, and more.

Viewers will also experience the USS LST-325 setting sail in Evansville, the Oliver Winery team harvesting grapes in Monroe County, and other activities around Indiana.
