BNL’s Spreen selected for inaugural Futures Game

BNL’s Chloe Spreen has been selected to compete in the first Futures Game for the South squad.

BEDFORD – Bedford North Lawrence junior Chloe Spreen has been selected to compete in the inaugural Futures Game, a new aspect of the Indiana All-Stars, on June 10.

Spreen, BNL’s scoring leader at 18.7, has been chosen to play for the South team, which will combine current freshmen, sophomores and juniors in a North-South format.

Other members of the South will include Indian Creek juniors Lauren Foster and Faith Wiseman, Lawrence Central freshmen Lola Lampley and Aniyah McKenzie. Noblesville’s Meredith Tippner and Reagan Wilson, Zionsville’s Emma Hann, Mooresville’s Rachel Harshman, Mt. Vernon (Fortville) junior Ellery Minch, Southridge’s Ava Montgomery and Jennings County’s Julian Woodard. Jennings County’s Kristi Sigler will coach the South.

Juniors are still eligible for selection to the 2023 Indiana Junior All-Stars, which will compete against Kentucky on June 4 at Jeffersonville and scrimmage the senior Indiana All-Stars on June 7.

The North team will include Valparaiso freshman Lilliann Barnes, Columbia City sophomore Addison Baxter, Twin Lakes sophomore Addison Bowsman, Brownsburg sophomore Avery Gordon, Carroll (Flora) junior Alli Harness, Fishers junior Talia Harris, Hamilton Southeastern sophomore Maya Makalusky, Fort Wayne Snider junior Jordyn Poole, Hamiton Heights junior Camryn Runner, South Bend Washington sophomore Kira Reynolds, West Lafayette junior Adrianne Tolen and Crown Point junior Ava Ziolkowski.
