2023 Greenhouse Days Volunteer Callout at Prophetstown State Park

WEST LAFAYETTE – Want to learn more about native plants? You can, by helping with native plant propagation at Prophetstown State Park.

Plants grown at Prophetstown State Park are used in restoration efforts at the park, supplied to other state parks in Indiana, and used in our Native Plant Sale (May 12-13), with all proceeds supporting future greenhouse operations at Prophetstown State Park.

There are a variety of prizes available to volunteers who help with the planting, including plant sale coupons, State Park Swag, and more.

You can sign up for a two-hour shift (10 a.m.-noon/1-3 p.m.) or sign up for both shifts and take a one-hour lunch break in between. Meet at the Visitors Center. Space is limited.

This activity is suitable for volunteers aged 12 and older. Children must be supervised by an adult if they are younger than 16.
