Voice your support for public health during Public Health Day on Jan. 26 at the Statehouse

INDIANAPOLIS – Join advocates from across Indiana at the Statehouse on Jan. 26 to voice your support for public health.

Public Health Day will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the North Atrium.

Governor Eric J. Holcomb and other speakers will share why public health matters and discuss the efforts underway to ensure that every Hoosier has access to the same core public health services, regardless of where they live or work.

This initiative is the product of a months-long study of Indiana’s public health system conducted by the Governor’s Public Health Commission, which produced recommendations on issues ranging from funding and workforce to emergency preparedness, childhood and adolescent health, governance and services, and data integration.

Supporters are asked to wear blue and gold to show their support.
