Caller reports unknown man attempts to open her door, BPD makes drug arrest

BEDFORD – A Bedford man was arrested early Sunday morning on drug charges when Bedford Police officers were called to the 1000 block of K Street after a report of a male attempting to open the caller’s apartment door.

When police arrived, they found 50-year-old Donald Harrison outside of the apartment and attempting to walk away when he spotted the officers.

An officer detained Harrison and in his pocket found an orange container with pills inside, a baggie containing 2 grams of crystal meth, and a baggy of heroin and syringes.

In Harrison’s cigarette pack the officer found a baggie of marijuana and in his wallet found three other baggies containing marijuana.

Harrison was arrested on charges of possession of meth and three counts of possession of narcotic drugs, unlawful possession of a syringe, and possession of marijuana.
